Insights and Strategies for AI-Driven Learning

AI can do amazing things, but its power to transform learning at home is often underestimated. Imagine a more personalized, engaging, and effective learning experience for your child.

I remember when AI in the classroom first became a topic of discussion. My initial reaction was apprehension. Questions swirled in my mind: Would it compromise learning? Could students trust the information? But then it hit me: I was already using AI! Programs like IXL and iReady were providing valuable data, and I realized I could intentionally harness AI to create an enriching learning environment.

What AI tools are your kids using to learn, or even just for fun? How could you use those same tools more strategically? Are they supporting their growth, or are they creating new challenges? This newsletter offers resources and strategies to help you intentionally harness the power of AI for learning.

The Collabo and The Community

This Black History Month we collaborated with Juneteenth of PBC, Inc. and La Petite Storytelling to share the importance of storytelling and affirmations with the students of Kids-R-Kreative Learning Center. Students participated in an engaging read of the book, I Am Every Good Thing, and affirmed their goodness by creating their own crowns!

Thrive Communities held an awesome homeschool fair at the end of January.

I really enjoyed connecting with homeschooling families here in Palm Beach. All of the kiddos were so excited and willing to come up and ask me questions about the books, crowns, and of course the candy!

I provided families with a reading enrichment activity, Crown of Confidence. It tasks parents to talk to their children about their best qualities and provides books for every age level that highlights how our differences make us great.
